Alcool gras d'origine végétale qui agit comme émollient, co-émulsifiant, stabilisateur d'émulsion, opacifiant, modificateur de viscosité et modificateur de structure pour les cosmétiques. Confère à la peau une émollience agréable, sèche et veloutée.

I use it quite rarely, when I make solid body lotion. Basically, I replace some of the beeswax with it, to get a higher hardness without the occlusive risk of beeswax.

I used it as an emulsion stabilizer in a mango and cocoa butter scrub. It performed very well as a co-emulsifier with the emulsifying olive wax. The product came out as expected.
