Description
Poudre de Garance – Pour des reflets cuivrés, saumon ou acajou en coloration capillaire naturelle.
La poudre de garance est obtenue à partir de la racine moulue de la plante Rubia tinctorum (la garance), traditionnellement connue comme source de colorants rouges naturels (alizarine, purpurine). Utilisée en coloration capillaire naturelle, elle confère des teintes ou des reflets cuivrés, saumon ou acajou, selon la couleur initiale des cheveux. Elle convient également pour colorer les savons et autres produits cosmétiques.
Contrairement aux poudres de henné, elle est presque toujours utilisée en mélange plutôt que comme colorant capillaire unique.

- Solubilité : Miscible à l'eau (dispersible ; un macérat ou une infusion aqueuse est recommandé pour extraire les pigments).
- Qualité : Composition type : hétérosides (alizaroside, purpuroside, rubiadinoside), alizarine libre (responsable de la couleur rouge), chlorogénine, sels alcalins, sucres, substances pectiques.
- Dosage indicatif : 1-50 %
Propriétés et Bienfaits
- Ingrédient botanique pour la coloration capillaire naturelle.
- Confère une couleur saumon ou cuivrée aux cheveux clairs.
- Apporte des reflets acajou ou châtain aux cheveux foncés.
- Laisse les cheveux doux et brillants lorsqu'elle est utilisée dans le mélange recommandé avec le henné.
Applications
- Masque capillaire colorant, mélangé à d'autres poudres capillaires (henné neutre, henné blond, henné rouge).
- Agent colorant dans les crèmes, gels, lotions et produits d'hygiène, utilisé sous forme de macérat ou d'infusion aqueuse.
- Coloration de savons – sous forme d'infusion ou de poudre ajoutée à la fin de la saponification (à la trace).
Guide de Formulation
- Pour les cheveux : Combiner avec une poudre de henné (henné neutre, blond ou rouge) dans un rapport général de 1:1. Utilisée seule sans henné, la poudre de garance a une très faible adhérence à la fibre capillaire et a tendance à ne pas tenir sur les cheveux lors de l'application. Le résultat final varie considérablement selon la couleur naturelle des cheveux – un test sur une mèches est recommandé avant l'application complète.
- Former une pâte avec de l'eau tiède, en suivant les instructions de préparation du henné respectif.
- Préparation d'une infusion : Ajouter 100 ml d'eau bouillante à 10 g de poudre, remuer et laisser infuser jusqu'à 15 minutes ; filtrer, laisser refroidir et transférer le filtrat dans un flacon propre. Incorporer l'infusion dans la formule immédiatement ou conserver avec 1 % de Cosgard pour une utilisation ultérieure.
- Pour les savons : L'infusion peut être utilisée comme liquide pour dissoudre la soude ; pour une couleur plus intense, la poudre peut être ajoutée directement à la trace (elle peut donner une texture légèrement abrasive au savon ; pour un résultat lisse, il est recommandé d'infuser, de macérer et de filtrer la poudre avant l'incorporation).

- Précautions : Usage cosmétique externe.
- Conservation : Conserver dans un récipient fermé, dans un endroit frais et sec, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil.

I ordered this powder to color an oil. I liked it has a f fine texture which favored the extraction of the compounds.
I used this powder for coloring cold processed soap. It has an excellent intense color, the color of the soap comes out very beautiful.
I haven't used it yet. I will use it to color the soap. They sent me 2 pieces instead of one and I am sure I ordered 1. I will be very careful from here on out.
I have used it to color soap, it colors very nicely, in a pale red and gives a slightly abrasive texture. If you don't want the abrasive effect, infuse the oil with the powder, warm, and then strain.
I combined it with the reddish henna and am thrilled with the result. I didn't find that it changed the consistency of the resulting paste, but I will mention that I was giving it water without following any proportions. I added until I got the desired consistency. I left it overnight to macerate and had no problems applying it to my hair the next day, nor did it run. I'm going to keep experimenting with the blush/henna proportions until I get the desired shade.
I used this wonderful Roibă powder to make Geranium & Allantoin soap (according to the recipe on the Elemental website). I got a fantastic soap. Thank you Elemental!!!!
Soap only. This powder is a very excellent tool for coloring and healing hair, but only dark. Mine are light, so I use them only for making soap in a cold or hot way.
Although I combined 50% roiba with 30% red henna and 20% blond henna, it has NO stickiness. It was awful to apply, I smudged all around. I think the problem is also that the grind of it is not fine enough, it should be ground to 1/3 of the actual size. I only give 2 stars because it picks up the color pretty well, though.
From my testing, this is a water-soluble dye. Oil infusion does not work for soaps, better to mix directly into soap or into water.
On a natural dark brown hair, I combined with neutral henna and water, but after 4h no difference. The brown was more intense :))).which didn't bother me at all. But it was a hard 4 hours :)))))))
I bought the powdered roiba to dye my mom, who I've been dyeing for a few years with reddish henna from Elemental's Elemental offering, wanting to get a deeper shade of red. I used 40% roiba powder and 60% red henna. It was very hard to apply, it doesn't adhere to the hair at all. So we are going to go back to dyeing with 100% red henna which is very easy to apply and which we are very happy with.
I have used it without combining it with henna as recommended in its leaflet, for hair coloring, but it has the consistency of wet sand and simply doesn't sit on the head.Instead it is excellent for dyeing Easter eggs (ro, ruby red or gorgeous mahogany depending on the boiling time or natural eggshell hue.
FF pleased with this product, as I wrote in the henna reddish henna review I used together with this henna powder 2 sachets of henna . The only drawback is that it has a much stronger odor than the henna even cloying ( my sensation was that it smelled like manure) at first and it is not as smooth as the henna powder.
